Trisha D. Hargrove is an
associate of Buchanan & Land, LLP. She received her bachelor’s
degree in Political Science from Auburn University, graduating
magna cum laude in 2001 as a member of the University Honors
Program. Trisha then attended Mercer University, Walter F.
George School of Law, where she received her J.D. in 2004. While
in law school, she was a member of the Mercer Law Review and
Moot Court Board. In addition, she participated in the
Association of Women Law Students, the Christian Legal Society,
and the Lawson Moot Court Competition.
Prior to joining Buchanan & Land, LLP in September 2005, Trisha
worked as an associate at Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers in
Atlanta, Georgia. While there, she worked primarily on the
defense of workers’ compensation matters. During her 6 years of
law practice, she has worked on a broad range of civil
litigation matters, including insurance defense litigation; the
prosecution and defense of construction litigation cases; the
defense of public utilities in a variety of litigated matters;
and cases involving nursing home negligence. She is licensed to
practice in both Georgia and Alabama.
Trisha is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, Alabama Bar
Association, Columbus Bar Association, and MyChurch.
